Winter has seemed to stretch on forever, and though the daylight hours are starting to get longer again, it still seems like they only last for about 15 minutes, and most of that is spent under dark snow clouds and white-out conditions. March 14th. Not only is it similar to pi (3.14), but it's also the day I've arbitrarily decided is Nana's birthday. I got her on May 14th, and they told me she was about 2 months old, though they didn't know the exact day right offhand. Since pi is my favorite number, March 14 it is.
